Progressive Protection Security Systems, Inc. started in 1997 as a simple concept. In the garage apartment of his home, Eddie Notgrass decided to combine the passion for customer service he had learned working on high-rise condos in South Florida with his idea of protecting families in the Central Texas area.
Believing in the KISS (Keep It Super Simple) principle, Eddie decided to combine today’s technology with an old-fashioned commitment to continue service after the sale.
Since that day Progressive Protection has earned the trust of thousands of families and businesses and has grown to serve not only Central Texas, but also locations throughout the US and Canada. The company has grown into a family of dedicated employees with a fleet of service vehicles, all ready to install and monitor intrusion systems, fire alarms, access control, video surveillance, and automation services.

I have been using Progressive Protection for our security video and alarm system at the Airgas Plant in Belton, Texas for more than three years. We had our system installed and the thing that sold me on this company was that he didn’t try to update me on things I didn’t need. During the installation, a camera was not exactly where I needed it, and without hesitation, they moved it. Mason and Joseph were very helpful during the process. I was having a few issues after hours trying to learn things and show my husband and I called Eddie for help. They went step by step with me so that my family and home could be safe and I could be worry free. The quality is amazing!!! My husband and I watched our cameras all night, and it was like watching TV. I wholeheartedly recommend Progressive Protection.

We recently had exterior security cameras installed on our home by a nationally recognized company. Although the installation was done neatly and professionally, we were left in a state of confusion regarding the equipment, it's capabilities, … More and how to manage it. I explained our situation to Eddie of Progressive Protection who graciously agreed to help us out. Technicians Mason and Shawn came to our home, listened very patiently to our concerns and needs, and immediately set about addressing them. While doing that, they were a pleasure to observe how professionally they interfaced and drew on each other's strengths. Over the few years with Progressive, we have had a few false alarms and each time, we were called received emails, and follow ups, and calls to our secondary contacts.
During the winter storm and loss of power, Justin called us to help … More us disarm the system and walked us through over the phone.
Recently, during some construction work on the house, the false alarm and our subsequent attempt to disarm the system, but we still had the siren going off outside the house. The sound was annoying and went on for a long time. Justin was willing to come out personally to help us try to find the issue, even though it clearly was not Progressive’s alarm, since it was completely disabled. It was late at night, so we decided to turn some of the breakers off, which worked. The following day, when we turned the breaker back on, the sound continued. At a loss, I called Justin and he again tried to help solution and finally got us to agree for him to come help us isolate the issue. He was at our house within 15 min ( he happened to live close by). This was far beyond customer service; it was a kind person trying to help. When he arrived, we learned very quickly it was coming from the pool pump and nothing to do with an alarm. Although we felt a bit embarrassed that we didn’t figure hat out on our own, the great customer service experience was above and beyond any other company we’ve dealt with. I cannot recommend Progressive enough.
